Finland has become the first country in the world to make broadband internet connection a legal right. According to the source Finland has planned to give free internet connection for its citizens by July 2010, Finland’s Ministry of Transport and Communications said that the people would receive at least a 1 mbps connection from next year and it would be increased to 100 mbps by 2015.
The government’s main aim is to provide internet connection to the rural part of the country. and also planning to cut down on the rents for landline phones.
